Everything considered, this really was not Hedoc's day.
He'd woken up from a pleasant dream of unending torture to a group of wizards pointing sticks at his face. They'd whizzed him off to a certain place called Hogwigs or whatnot, where they promptly planted him in a randomly conceived office and told him to wait for a certain patron by the name of Albert Dumbledork.
And he'd tripped over a phoenix on the way here.
He now sat on the opposite side of Professor Dumbledore's desk, drumming his fingers on the polished wood and itching to utilize his sabres. Besides, the phoenix sitting in the corner reminded him of chicken, and he'd neglected to eat breakfast that morning.
