This is the best movie ever. Even better than LotR, if not by much. Has anyone else seen it/loved it?

You had to study it for class? What exactly were you supposed to study about it?

Wow. 4 essays on my favorite movie? What a terrible thing to have to do, at least on the specific topics you mentioned.

I can sincerely say this is one of the only movies that's actually touched me. No it didn't make me cry, but it's come the closest besides the fifth HP book. The only aspect I thought could have been improved on was Maximus's (was that his name?) character development, as by the end of the movie I still couldn't figure him out.

I got grounded, that's what happened. <_< But I'm back now. Personally, I found this book to be pretty sad, simply because the protagonist dies in a really cool way. He died achieving his goal. I'm a sucker for those sorts of stories. .....you said the fifth HP book, LDM, comparing it to a movie, though. Are you just meaning sad plots in general, then?

Whoops--typo. I meant to say 'movie'. Raist corrupted me. I lay all of the blame on her.

Lol. Actually, there is a novelization of the movie, fyi. I haven't read it, though. The movie does just fine for me.
