Lunatari, the DL obsessor kindly reminds you that the red moon is spelled LUNITARI. Regards, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
I think she means that no one we actually care about died until the 5th book. Indeed, that was the first character death my elementary school self had ever encountered, and I was depressed for a month afterwards. I really don't think Neville deserves to die, and neither can I see Rowling killing him off either. He's always got that innocence to him, and he deserves to live until he's fat and old. I can see Lupin dying, as that'd utterly devastate Tonks.

Well, Sirius and Dumbledore didn't deserve to die Neither, if you think about it, did Quirrell, though I think we can all agree that Tom Riddle did indeed deserve to die. Again. And Cedric Diggory deserved to die about as much as...um...Merrin. No, bad comparison. *Shifty eyes* He deserved to die about as much as...something that doesn't deserve to die...eh...I need sleep...

NO! i do not agree Tom Riddle had to die. He was much more interesting than the Voldemort NOW. I like Riddle junior better. you need sleep? at 12? ?? *feels like punching something* oh btw, word of advice- never have only 1 hour of sleep before takind a test. and not study for the test bad choice. i was up doing a 12 paged typed lab... and didn't feel like studying... i got a B on the test, and i didn't remember taking the test... it was my first B in that class! but i didn't care much i still had am A average... just 4 points lower so... never, try to never, stay up late the day before a test.

I think she means that no one we actually care about died until the 5th book. Indeed, that was the first character death my elementary school self had ever encountered, and I was depressed for a month afterwards. Not me. He was yet another one of my favorite characters to die. So Harry Potter fell into a category with all the others. The only reason LOTR isn't in that category (my fave was Boromir, of course) is because when Faramir was introduced, I realized I liked him better than Boromir.
