I start this thread in hopes that Raistlin will come along and tell me more about it, since I have read only five of them. I have no remembrance of what two of them were, but I read The Hunter's Blades trilogy, which was really confusing, and would have been more so, if I hadn't known something about Drizzt Do'Urden beforehand.

I've read Sea of Swords (the last one), That Dark Elf trilogy which raist said was the best and the Crystal shard which was terribly boring. Drizzt is amazing and I highly suggest that you read the dark elf trilogy.

Tell you more about it, is that it? Yeesh, what a killjoy. I also suggest you read the Dark Elf Trilogy first (or go dig yourself a wikipedia article, if you so prefer ), as you really can't understand what Drizzt has been through until you've read that one. The worlds of DL and FR are actually remarkably similar, as they come from the same producers and many of the same authors. Perhaps the most notable difference are the figureheads - Raistlin in DL and Drizzt and sometimes Elminster in FR.

Right. I shall have to do more research on Drizzt, preferably by reading some of the books. It's rather hard to empathize with him if I only know what happened to him through a Wikipedia article.
